Autism Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization located in Charlottesville, Virginia, dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to build skills, develop connections, and experience a true sense of belonging.

Our services include a group day program based on our 85-acre working farm, where individuals are supported to engage with nature while working towards individualized goals through activities such as walking trails, gardening, caring for livestock, and hands-on agricultural experiences. We also provide off-site residential and community-based services that support individuals in building independence and engaging fully in their communities.

At Autism Sanctuary, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful life filled with purpose, connection, and inclusion. Through the healing power of nature, the strength of community, and person-centered support, we strive to create an environment where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to grow!
