Jake Hamann has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jake founded Autix in 2018, serving as the Founder & CEO of the online platform that connects specialty vehicle owners and enthusiasts. In 2021, they founded and became the Managing Director of the Return to Better Institute, an organization that helps communities support entrepreneurship and new business creation in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jake also played a key role as a Founding Member of the Startup Champions Network, a national network supporting innovation ecosystem builders across the United States.

In 2018, Jake founded the Content Readiness Institute, where they served as the Founder & CEO. The institute focuses on helping companies ensure the readiness of their content for advancements in technology. Jake also co-founded Midwest Made in 2020, a sustainable company with a focus on environmental and animal-friendly products.

Jake has shown a commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. Jake founded the Peoria Innovation Alliance in 2019 and served as the Founder & Executive Director until 2021. Additionally, they co-founded Future Agro Challenge USA in 2020, an organization aimed at finding sustainable solutions to global food challenges.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Jake held positions in marketing and leadership roles. Jake served as the Director of Marketing at TADA Cognitive Solutions from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they were the President & CEO of OneFire, an innovation agency, from 2012 to 2016. Jake co-founded Startup Peoria in 2012, an organization focused on developing and promoting the entrepreneurial startup community in Greater Peoria.

Jake Hamann attended Pekin Community High School from 1995 to 1998, where they earned their GED. Afterwards, they pursued their education at Illinois State University from 1998 to 2001, majoring in Music Education.
