Mark Weaffer has extensive experience in risk and compliance, particularly in customer security within the automotive industry. Since March 2016, Mark has held multiple leadership roles at Auto Trader UK, including Vehicle Provenance Squad Lead and Risk & Compliance - Customer Security Manager. Responsibilities have included direct line management, performance reviews, team training, and the implementation of processes to improve customer security. Prior to Auto Trader, Mark served as a Senior Customer Security Executive, Investigator at Trader Data Systems, and Fraud Investigator at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where skills in fraud detection and authentication for payments were developed. Mark's educational background includes qualifications in trading standards and studies at various institutions, culminating in high school completion.
