Peter Appleby

Peter Appleby has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and mathematics. Peter started their career as a DFG Research Fellow at Humboldt University Berlin in 2005. Peter then became a BBSRC Research Fellow at the University of Leeds from 2008 to 2010 and later at the University of Sheffield from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Mathematician at Innovative Technology Ltd. In 2015, they joined Auto Trader UK as the Head of Data Science & Analytics. In 2017, they became a member of the Data Science Advisory Board at R.O.EYE Limited, where they served until 2022.

Peter Appleby completed a Research Doctorate in Applied Mathematics from The University of Southampton from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a MPhys in Theoretical Physics from The University of Manchester from 1998 to 2002.
