Alex Cao

Alex Cao is a seasoned software development manager with extensive experience in the CAD software industry. Currently serving as the Sr. Software Development Manager for Autodesk's AutoCAD Graphics Team since September 2016, Cao has focused on cutting-edge graphic solutions. Prior experience includes a role as Sr. Manager of Software Development at Aspen Technology beginning in April 2008, and as Team Lead for Software Development at Beijing United Right Software Ltd. from February 2004 to April 2008, where responsibilities included developing the Solid3000 3D CAD software and managing solid modeling systems. Alex Cao holds an EMBA from Renmin University of China (2019-2021), a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology (2001-2004), and a Bachelor’s degree from Shanghai University (1997-2001).
