Daron Green is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in research and development across multiple prominent organizations. Currently serving as Chief Scientist at Autodesk since July 2021, Daron oversees the scientific research portfolio focusing on AI, robotics, HCI, visualization, and more. Prior to Autodesk, Daron held the role of Director at Facebook Research, where responsibilities included managing strategic research plans and collaborations with academic institutions. Daron's previous positions at Microsoft included Senior Director of Microsoft Research Connections, where oversight of global research investments and initiatives was paramount, and General Manager roles focused on technology policy and research connections. Daron's career also includes significant roles at BT Global Services, IBM, Selectica, SGI, Cray Inc., and Smith System Engineering, demonstrating a consistent track record of leadership and innovation in technology and research. Daron holds a PhD in Chemistry and a B.Sc. in Chemical Physics from The University of Sheffield.
