Jo Chung

Jo (Wing Ting) Chung is a Computer Science and Anthropology student at Tufts University, expected to graduate in May 2024. Currently serving as a Software Engineer Intern at Charles River Development since May 2023, Jo has also been an active member of Rewriting the Code since January 2023. Experience includes functioning as a CS Teaching Assistant for a Game Design Course at Tufts, as well as working as a Frontend Developer for Tufts JumboCode, where Jo developed web interfaces for NGOs using React. Previous roles include Research Assistant at Tufts Air Pollution Lab, where Jo programmed temperature sensors and analyzed significant data during heat waves, and teaching assistance for the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program, facilitating programming education for students. Additionally, Jo held a customer service role at Tufts Dining and led the Student Representative Council at Beijing International Bilingual Academy.
