Joel Fortin

Joel Fortin is a seasoned Software Development Engineer in Test with extensive experience in quality assurance and automation. They worked at Unity from 2017 to 2022, focusing on QA for Unity features and automating frameworks in C#. Prior to that, they spent eight years at Autodesk, developing tools and automation tests in Maxscript and Ruby. Most recently, Joel has held senior roles at Nuance Communications and Microsoft, emphasizing cloud microservices and automated testing in Python. They hold a DEC in Computer Programming from Collège de Valleyfield and an AEC in Video Game from NAD, School of Digital Arts, Animation and Design - UQAC.
