Marcus O'Brien

Marcus O'Brien is an accomplished leader in product management, currently serving as Global VP of Product Management & Development at Autodesk since August 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing the AutoCAD portfolio and leading an international team of 250 professionals. Prior roles at Autodesk include Senior Director and Director positions focused on various AutoCAD products, where Marcus managed and mentored product teams. Earlier experience includes Principal Engineering Product Manager at Red Engineering Design, focusing on modular data centers, and Consulting Engineer at Arup, where projects spanned residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. Marcus holds an MBA from London Business School and the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Galway. Acknowledged with the "Chartered Engineer of the Year" award from Engineers Ireland in 2010, recognition was earned for contributions to the design and execution of Dublin Airport Terminal 2.
