Marwan Haggag

Marwan Haggag is currently a freshman majoring in mechanical engineering at UC Berkeley, where they hold the distinction of being a Regents' and Chancellor's Scholar. They co-founded Extendesk, securing 1st place at INJAZ Egypt’s National Competition, and led the design of a multifunctional portable desk attachment using CAD and rapid prototyping. Marwan is an ambassador for Autodesk and a member of Space Technologies and Rocketry (STAR), where they collaborate on rocket design projects. With a background that includes a digital internship with Nomads Giving Back! and a study visit internship at the Union for the Mediterranean Secretariat, Marwan is passionate about applying engineering skills to solve real-world challenges.
