Michael Koehle is an Oakland-based artist and engineer specializing in digital fabrication. They received a BA in Art Practice from UC Berkeley, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from UC Davis, and an MFA in Studio Art from Mills College. Michael has held various positions, including Artist, Research Engineer at Capital One, and Senior Research & Design Engineer at Autodesk, where they developed innovative new media art projects and installations. They have also received residency grants from prominent institutions and were awarded the general prize in the YouFab Global Creative Awards in Japan.
