Nigel Morris

Nigel Morris is a highly experienced Senior Principal Research Engineer at Autodesk since July 2014, previously serving as a Principal Research Engineer. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Computer Science and Lead Computer Scientist at Morgan Solar Inc., where Nigel led a team in developing optical design software. A teaching assistant in Computer Graphics at the University of Toronto, Nigel supported upper-level courses and tutorials. Earlier in career, roles included research internships at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, where Nigel designed a camera system, and Microsoft, focusing on .NET framework technologies, along with a research assistant position at Carnegie Mellon University. Nigel holds a PhD and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, along with a BScH from Queen's University.
