Peter Qian is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering. At Autodesk, Peter served as Director of Software Engineering from April 2014 to July 2022, leading the global AutoCAD engineering organization and overseeing the development of the AutoCAD product family. Peter's previous roles include Senior Software Development Manager, where innovation in 2D and 3D computer graphics systems was driven, and Software Architect, responsible for scaling Tinkercad’s system for millions of users. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Intel, Research Assistant at IBM, Research Assistant at Microsoft, and IT System Engineer at Boston Consulting Group. Peter holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
