Randy Swearer

Randy Swearer is an accomplished leader in education and design, with significant experience in various academic and professional roles. At Autodesk, from June 2015 to June 2017, Randy served as Vice President for both Learning Futures and Education Experiences. Prior to this, Randy was the Provost and Dean of the Faculty at Philadelphia University from January 2009 to January 2015, and Dean at Parsons School for Design from January 1998 to January 2004. From January 1988 to January 1998, Randy held the position of Associate Professor at The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, Randy contributed to the National Endowment for the Arts as Deputy Director of the Design Program from January 1995 to January 1996. Randy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Anthropology and Urban Studies from Union Institute & University, obtained between January 2005 and January 2009.
