Shu Ishida

Shu Ishida is a Senior AI Research Scientist at Autodesk, specializing in machine learning, multimodal deep learning models, and reinforcement learning for 3D modeling and design. Previously, Ishida worked as an AI Research Scientist in Game Intelligence at Microsoft, focusing on generative AI and world models for gameplay. As a co-first author of the World Wide Dishes initiative with the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Society, Ishida conducted research on biases in Large Language Models and Text-to-Image models. Experience includes developing a code optimization framework for autonomous driving at Wayve and leading the Human Robot Interaction division in Team ORIon at the University of Oxford. Ishida holds a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Autonomous Intelligent Machines and Systems and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Information Technology, both from the University of Oxford.
