Simon Topley

Simon Topley is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in managing and developing innovative software solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Software Development at Autodesk since May 2021, Simon oversees the production and maintenance of a diverse portfolio of asset management software, coordinating efforts across global teams. Prior to this role, Simon worked at Innovyze from January 2006 to May 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to hydraulic modeling software widely used by water utility companies and engineering firms. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Software Developer at Software Imaging, enhancing laser printer functionality; as a Software Test Automation engineer at Oxford Semiconductor; and as a Software Developer focusing on applied laser sciences at STFC, where work received publication recognition in Nature magazine. Simon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing from Sheffield Hallam University.
