Will McCarthy

Will McCarthy currently serves as a Senior AI Research Scientist at Autodesk, focusing on the Data and Cognitive Science Research team since October 2023. Prior to this role, Will contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher in Cognitive Science at UC San Diego from August 2018 to June 2024, where responsibilities included coordinating interdisciplinary research projects, developing a full-stack framework for web experiments, implementing statistical and machine learning models, designing metrics for generative behavior assessments, and presenting findings to various audiences. Additionally, Will served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, instructing over 12 undergraduate courses in subjects such as Data Science and Computation.
