Yaoli Mao

Yaoli Mao, Ph.D., is a Principal Experience Researcher at Autodesk, where they focus on understanding customer navigation and learning behaviors through data analysis and interactive workshops. Previously, they served in various roles including Senior Experience Design Researcher and corporate strategy intern at Autodesk, as well as a research fellow at Columbia University's Institute for Learning Technologies. Yaoli's background includes internships at IBM, Ogilvy & Mather, and a research assistantship at East China Normal University's Educational Neuroscience Center. They hold a Ph.D. from Columbia University, where they specialized in cognitive science and UI/UX research.
