Steve Abernethy currently serves on the Board of Directors for the USA Track & Field Foundation and AutoFi, and provides strategic guidance on the Advisory Board for BharCap Partners. Steve is a member of the Dean's Leadership Council for the College of Architecture & Environmental Design at Cal Poly and has held various board positions, including with iLendingDIRECT and Triparound. Previously, Steve was Executive Chairman, President, and CEO at SquareTrade, where Steve significantly impacted the consumer warranty industry. Other professional experiences include roles as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey and as a Structural Engineer at Arup. Steve holds an MBA in General Management from Harvard Business School and a BS in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University.
