Mitchell Sipus

Mitchell Sipus PhD currently serves as Chief Solution Architect at AutogenAI since April 2024. Previously, from June 2020 to December 2023, Mitchell was the Senior Director of Artificial Intelligence Products & Services for the Federal Sector at CalypsoAI, where responsibilities included designing AI R&D architecture for U.S. government agencies. As CoFounder and Head of AI/ML Research and Development at Tulco, LLC from July 2017 to June 2019, Mitchell was instrumental in establishing the AI research lab. Mitchell's impactful tenure as a Presidential Innovation Fellow from January 2016 to January 2018 included significant roles with various federal departments, enhancing AI capabilities and digital transformation initiatives. An experienced educator and advisor, Mitchell has held roles at Carnegie Mellon University, SSR+D, and The American University of Afghanistan, and has contributed to urban planning and policy in fragile states. Mitchell holds a PhD in Design & Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and multiple master's degrees in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati.
