Mark Hatfield has extensive experience in engineering, specifically within the automotive safety sector at Autoliv, where employment began in September 1996. Currently serving as an Innovation and Development Engineer since June 2005, Mark focuses on the innovation of new products while adhering to high-quality standards and cost targets. Mark has held various engineering positions, including Global Project Lead for a significant initiative involving decorative emblems and trim rings for driver-side airbags, and has contributed to the development of side curtain airbag technologies as a Development Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Quality Engineer responsible for serial production quality for GM driver airbag programs. Mark holds a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Utah State University, obtained between 1983 and 1986.
