Mike Elbert

Mike Elbert is a Facilities Engineer at Autoliv since May 2023, bringing extensive experience in engineering and education. Previously, Mike served as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor at Utah Valley University from August 2019 to June 2023, focusing on the Electrical Systems Technology program. At Great Basin College from June 2013 to August 2019, Mike developed the program, established community relations, and taught numerous courses. Prior experience includes project management at Siemens Industry, where Mike managed energy and building automation projects, and earlier roles as an Engineering Specialist and Intern focusing on DDC solutions. Mike began an electrical career as a Journeyman Electrician at A&K Electric, excelling in project coordination and training apprentices. Mike holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
