Michael Merges

Michael Merges is an experienced Science Director currently pursuing an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Hood College. They hold a B.S. in Microbiology from Penn State University and have worked across various roles in the biotechnology industry, including as Vice President of Process Development and Quality Control at Autolus Therapeutics. Previously, they held positions at prominent organizations such as Catalent Pharma Solutions and Emergent BioSolutions, where they demonstrated expertise in analytical sciences, biopharmaceutical support services, and strategic growth initiatives. With a strong background in Good Laboratory Practice and extensive leadership experience, Merges has significantly contributed to product development and regulatory compliance in the field.
