Thomas Smith

Thomas Smith is an Associate Director of Engineering with a strong background in mechanical engineering and problem-solving. Previously, they served as a Senior Engineering Manager, overseeing the transition of new packing lines into production control, and as a CI Engineer at GSK, where they led major improvement projects that achieved significant cost savings. Thomas began their career as an Automotive Technician at Elms BMW and worked as a Test and Validation Engineer at Intelligent Energy, contributing to the development of Hydrogen Fuel Cells. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire. Currently, they are a Senior Manager in Engineering Operations at Autolus Therapeutics.
