Automated Operations is the infrastructure context layer for AI agents — the connective tissue between the agents your team already uses and the systems you actually run.

Engineering teams are giving AI agents real production access — to triage incidents, run diagnostics, review config, and ship changes. The hard part isn't letting an agent call a tool; it's letting it do so safely: with the right scope, enriched context instead of raw data, a record of every action, and approvals only where they matter. We build that layer so teams don't have to.

How it fits together:
- AO Toolkit — a lightweight binary you install on your own infrastructure (cloud, Kubernetes, data centers, edge). It collects telemetry and exposes the capabilities you define, from read-only diagnostics to carefully scoped changes. It's outbound-only and mutually authenticated, so there are no inbound ports to open.
- AO Cloud — our hosted control plane. It maps and tags your fleet, turns raw signals into enriched context, manages policy, and captures a complete audit trail.
- AO MCP — the endpoint your agents connect to. Standard Model Context Protocol, working with Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, Zed, and anything else that speaks MCP.

Security is built in, not bolted on: read-only by default, every action scoped and recorded, sensitive writes routed through the approval tools your team already uses like Slack, PagerDuty, and Linear, plus SSO, single sign-on provisioning, and SOC 2 in progress. Your sensitive data stays on your side of the wire.

We're in private beta with a small group of teams running real production systems. If you want to give AI agents safe, scoped access without building the whole stack yourself, get in touch: hello@automatedoperations.com
