Ryan Simon

Ryan Simon is the Sr. Director of Safety & Regulatory at Intertek, where they provide regulatory advice and strategic scientific guidance to facilitate the introduction of food biotechnology products into global markets. With 20 years of experience in scientific and regulatory consulting, Ryan has supported the launch of over 100 new food ingredients, focusing on areas such as plant-based proteins and GM technologies. Previously, Ryan held positions as a Senior Research Scientist at Millenium Biologix Corp and as a Research Associate at McMaster University. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology from the University of Guelph and a Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Pathology from McMaster University.
