Don Pflaster has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Don is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Automatiq since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Voices of Gotham as a Bass since August 2018.
Don'sprevious role includes being the Chief Technology Officer at Seat Scouts from March 2017 to December 2020. Don was responsible for creating a suite of tools for the ticket industry, utilizing Elixir and the Phoenix Framework.
Before that, Don worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Event Ticket Sales, LLC from November 2015 to March 2017. Don played a key role in building a new purchasing application using the experimental Phoenix Framework.
Don also served as the Principal Software Engineer of BuildingBlok Solutions at The Blue Book Building & Construction Network from June 2015 to November 2015. Don was involved in the acquisition and development of the BuildingBlok product.
Prior to their role at The Blue Book, Don worked as a Senior Software Consultant at BuildingBlok from December 2014 to June 2015. Don provided consulting services for the company.
Don started their career in 1997 as a Senior Engineer at IRI, a marketing research company. Don maintained databases and software installations at client sites, catering to companies such as Novartis, Pfizer, and M&M/Mars.
Throughout their career, Don has gained expertise in various technologies including Elixir, Phoenix Framework, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and more.
Don Pflaster completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida, from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1 from Coursera in July 2012.
