David Lockie

David Lockie currently serves as the Web3 Lead at Automattic and has a diverse portfolio of roles, including Ambassador for Grant for the Web, Advisor at AdNode, Board Advisor for WordProof, and Co-Chair of the Blockchain Council at BIMA. With previous leadership experience as CMO of Angry Creative UK and Founder of Dcent.tech, David has a strong background in web technology, particularly in blockchain and WordPress. David's career began at Pragmatic, where David held the role of Director, and earlier experience includes founding WP Central Limited and working as a Freelance Web Developer/Strategist. David holds a BSc (Hons) in Zoology from The University of Manchester.
