Willo Hooper

Willo Hooper has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2008, they started as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Auckland. They then worked as a Case Manager at the Ministry of Social Development from 2012 to 2014. The next role was as a Website Content Manager at STACK Business Interiors in 2014.

From 2015 to 2017, Willo Hooper was a Full Stack Web Developer at Putti, where they led the development of a SaaS form builder. They also worked as a Lead Developer and Tech Marketing Specialist at Silicon Power in 2018, where they designed and rebuilt large-scale websites and implemented solutions for process improvement and security.

In 2018, Willo joined FOX-TECH CO. as a Full Stack Developer, leading the development of an IoT platform. They then co-founded Totemise in 2018 and worked as the Tech Lead, managing various client projects and developing marketing sites, applications, and bespoke sites.

From 2020 to 2021, Willo worked as a Senior Developer Team Lead at Putti, leading a team of developers and working on SaaS products and e-commerce solutions. Currently, they are working as a Senior Developer at Firmsy.

Willo Hooper pursued their education with a Diploma in Web Development at Yoobee School of Design in 2014. Prior to that, they had also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy and Maths from The University of Auckland between 2007 and 2009.
