Michael Larson

Michael Larson serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Cascade Asset Management Company since January 1994, where responsibilities include managing assets for Bill Gates and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Trust. Larson holds various positions on the Board of Directors for companies including Republic Services, Ecolab, and AutoNation, and serves as a Director for FEMSA and on the Board of Directors for The Western Asset Funds. Additionally, Larson co-chairs the Investment Management Company at Claremont McKenna College and is the Chair of the Investment Committee at the University of Washington Investment Management Company. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance and Production Management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
