E-mobility, within the broader context of global sustainability and energy diversification, has been at the forefront of international government and industry agendas for several years. As the mobility sector evolves, autonomous—or driverless—e-mobility represents the next major phase of technological innovation in the transition toward more sustainable transport systems. While essential to a sustainable future, both electric and autonomous mobility technologies continue to advance through ongoing research and development, alongside the evolution of regulatory and policy frameworks.

Hosted by the Ministry of Transport, the Autonomous e-Mobility Forum (AEMOB) is emerging as a pioneering international platform dedicated to the advancement of driverless e-mobility—an issue of growing global importance and urgency. Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the second edition of the AEMOB Forum will take place from 7–9 September 2026 at the Qatar National Convention Center. The multilateral forum will convene a global network of senior government officials, policymakers, technology leaders, industry experts, academics, and media representatives, alongside hundreds of participants. It will provide a timely and collaborative setting to exchange insights, shape recommendations, and accelerate the real-world deployment of autonomous e-mobility solutions.
