Danny O'Brien

Danny O'Brien is currently the Managing Director EMEA & Global Programs at SVG Ventures | THRIVE, where they lead investments across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in the Agri-Food Tech sector. Alongside this role, Danny serves as a Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship at ISAMeducation and as an Investment Committee Member for the Ceres Agri-Tech Knowledge Exchange Partnership. They also hold board positions with Autonomous Pivot and Continuum Ag, and founded Business Barn and Idea 2 Scale. Danny's educational background includes a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Dublin City University, an MSc in Marketing Practice from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, and recently completed a course on Private Equity & Venture Capital at Harvard Business School.
