AutoSock is the market leading and highest certified textile traction device for vehicles. Our products are available for cars, trucks and forklifts. AutoSock is used for a variety of vehicles from firetrucks and ambulances to public transportation services and airport pushbacks. Between our brands AutoSock and SnowGecko we cover 98% of the commercial tire size market. Our products are available in more than 50 countries. 

We invented the snow sock in 1996 and we were the first to manufacture a textile alternative to traditional snow chains. We went through extensive research and development to deliver the most technologically advanced solution to a simple challenge: winter driving safety. Therefore we collaborated directly with leading automotive manufacturers and international certification bodies.

AutoSock was incorporated in 1998, and became a Fred Olsen company in 2001. We are based in the headquarter of Fred. Olsen & Co. in Oslo with additional locations in Spain and Germany.
