Ahmed Kamara

Ahmed Kamara has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ahmed began their career in 2000 at Hanlees Auto Group, where they worked as a Sales and Leasing Manager until 2004. From 2004 to 2012, they held the role of Estee Lauder HQ Corporate Security Site Manager at GUARDSMARK LLC.

In 2014, Ahmed interned at the Global Fund for Women as a Project Manager, focusing on women empowerment and social justice in Sub Saharan Africa. Ahmed then transitioned to Cruise in 2017, where they worked as an Autonomous Vehicle Trainer II until 2019.

Ahmed joined AutoX in 2019 as an Autonomous Vehicle Operator and later moved to Transdev North America in 2021 as an Autonomous Driving Specialist for Waymo. Currently, they are working at AutoX.ai in Product Engineering and Testing.

Throughout their career, Ahmed has gained extensive experience in autonomous driving, vehicle operations, project management, and security management.

Ahmed Kamara pursued their Bachelor's Degree in International Business/Computer applications from 2004 to 2009 at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College. After a gap in their education, Ahmed went on to study Computer Software Engineering from 2020 to 2021 at Thinkful.
