John Tippitt

John Tippitt is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in information technology and project management. Since February 2005, John has served as Vice President of Information Technology at AutoZone, advancing through various roles including Director of Information Technology and Enterprise Architect. John's notable achievements include the successful migration of complex store systems to Brazil and the design and management of numerous innovative technology solutions such as SMS Gateway and self-checkout systems. Prior to AutoZone, John worked as a Systems Engineer/IS Analyst at Lockheed Martin and as a Project Engineer at Avionics Specialist, Inc. John holds a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Memphis.
