Marc Hansen

Marc Hansen has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Marc is currently working at Auxilion as the Network and Security Competency Lead since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Consultant Network Services at Auxilion from August 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining Auxilion, Marc worked at SecFlows as a Principal Consultant starting from February 2016. From June 2013 to March 2016, they served as a Sr. Network Specialist at Niagara Parks Commission. Prior to that, they worked at 407 ETR as Sr. Network and Security Administrator from January 2012 to June 2013.

Marc also has significant experience at SITA, where they held the position of Senior Specialist, Technology Management from April 2003 to December 2011. Marc started their career at Canada Customs and Revenue Agency as an IT Analyst from August 2001 to August 2002.

Marc Hansen's education history includes a Bachelor of Computing and Business degree from Brock University, which they obtained between 2003 and 2009. Marc also completed a Computer Engineering Technology Co-op program at Niagara College from 1999 to 2003, and a General Arts and Science program at Niagara College in 2005. In terms of certifications, Marc has obtained various certifications in the field of information technology, privacy, and security, including the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. Marc also holds certifications from Microsoft, Aruba, Aviatrix, (ISC)², ISACA, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and other institutions.
