Stephen Buttolph

Stephen Buttolph is the Chief Protocol Architect at Ava Labs. Stephen was previously a software engineering intern at Google from June 2018 to August 2018. Stephen was also a TA for operating systems at Cornell University from August 2017 to December 2018. Prior to that, they were an associate software developer intern at Capital One from June 2017 to August 2017.

Stephen Buttolph attended Plymouth Regional High School and then Cornell University where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. After college, they took some distant based coursework in Chemistry from Johns Hopkins University School of Education and also in Math and Physics from Stanford University.

Stephen Buttolph reports to Emin Gun Sirer, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Kitty Grier - Art Director, Patrick O'Grady - VP, Engineering, and Lee Schneider - General Counsel.
