Laure Fourquet

Laure Fourquet is a Senior Global Campaigner at Avaaz, where they contribute to impactful global initiatives. Previously, they have worked as a freelance journalist for prestigious outlets like The New York Times and the BBC, and served as a news producer for FRANCE 24. Laure also held roles such as a researcher for the Committee to Protect Journalists and an investigative journalist with Global Witness. They earned a Master of Science in Climate Change: Science and Policy from King's College London and a Postgraduate Degree in Data Journalism from Columbia University. Additionally, Laure has experience as a teaching assistant in journalism at the London College of Communication.
