Mauricio Guetta

Mauricio Guetta is the Legal Policy Director at Avaaz and a professor of postgraduate law at several institutions including PUC-SP, PUC-Rio, and IBMEC-DF. They have served as the Adjunct Coordinator of Policy and Law at the Instituto Socioambiental (ISA) and have been a professor in environmental law at various universities. Mauricio holds a Master's degree in Environmental Law and has conducted research at both the University of Cape Town and the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. Their professional experience includes being a senior attorney at Milare Advogados and serving as a guest professor in socio-environmental law at the Escola Superior do Ministério Público da União.
