Nathan Miller

Nathan Miller is an experienced campaign director at Avaaz since May 2018, where responsibilities include designing and implementing campaigns addressing critical issues such as the climate crisis and human rights, supported by a global membership of nearly 60 million. Prior to this role, Nathan served as a legal director at Avaaz, managing campaigns for a global civic advocacy network, and as director of the International Legal Clinic at the University of Iowa College of Law, providing legal advice to emerging democracies. Previous positions include senior fellow for human rights and social justice, human rights program officer for the International Senior Lawyers Project, executive director at Rule of Law International, and rule of law program officer for UNDP in Southern Sudan. Nathan holds a JD from New York University School of Law and a BA in Spanish and Philosophy from the University of Dayton.
