John Meade, MPH, is a Senior Program Manager-Policy at AVAC: Global Advocacy for HIV Prevention and a Steering Committee Member at the Global Health Technologies Coalition. John is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU School of Global Public Health and teaches graduate-level courses. John has a background in public health research and program coordination, with experience at organizations such as the New York State Department of Health, NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and Interfaith Health Program at Emory University. John holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology/Biological Sciences from Connecticut College.

AVAC works to accelerate the ethical development and global delivery of HIV prevention tools as part of a comprehensive and integrated response to the epidemic. Through education, policy analysis, advocacy and a network of global collaborations, we mobilize and support efforts to: * DELIVER proven HIV prevention tools for immediate impact. * DEMONSTRATE and roll out new HIV prevention options. * DEVELOP long-term solutions needed to end the epidemic.
