Matt Zelkowitz

Matt Zelkowitz has been working in the lighting design industry since the late 1990s. Matt began their career as a stage designer and eventually transitioned into architectural lighting design. Currently, Matt is the Principal Designer at Available Light, where Matt specializes in integrating theatrical techniques into their work. Prior to that, Matt was the Owner of August and Zelk Design Associates, focusing on theatrical and special event lighting design. Matt also previously worked as a Senior Lighting Designer at Cosentini Lighting Design. Matt holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design from New York University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design from Ithaca College.
