Aaron Lewter

Aaron Lewter has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Aaron currently holds the position of Principal Architect at Availity, where they have been working since April 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director of Information Security & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Director of Information Security, and the Manager of Network & Security Services at Availity from 2012 to 2021.

Before joining Availity, Aaron worked at Bank of America from 2009 to 2011, where they held the positions of Vice President, Senior Technology Manager – Application Hosting Platforms, Vice President, Senior Change Consultant, and Vice President, Senior Application Virtualization & Alternative Desktop Engineer.

From 2001 to 2009, Aaron worked at Merrill Lynch, where they held various roles including Vice President, IT Manager & Citrix Architect, Vice President, Head of End User Core Services (EUCS) Department, and Vice President, Head of the Jacksonville Application Management Team.

Earlier in their career, Aaron served as the Chief Technology Officer at EkoVista.com and as the Vice President of Enterprise Consulting & Senior Citrix Engineer at MSC Computers.

Aaron Lewter earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from Florida Atlantic University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in English from Panama Canal College, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Aaron has obtained various certifications in the field of information technology and security, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), GIAC Cloud Penetration Tester (GCPN) from GIAC Certifications, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from AWS, GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) from GIAC Certifications, GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN) from GIAC Certifications, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from GIAC, CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)², and HITRUST Practitioner from HITRUST Alliance LLC.
