Michael Privat

Michael Privat is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in data architecture and software engineering. Currently serving as the Chief Data & Engineering Officer at Availity since 2006, Michael has played a pivotal role in developing engineering teams, defining data strategies, and executing cloud migration initiatives. Michael's past roles include Chief Architect, Vice-President of Digital-Cloud Migration, and Principal Architect at Availity, as well as enterprise architect positions at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida and Chief Technology Officer at Digi-Net Technologies. Michael's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from ESSI - University of Nice - Sophia Antipolis and a visiting scientist position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research was published in the IEEE journal. Currently, Michael is also an advisory board member at Highmoon Capital and an executive member of the International LEAP Network.
