Robert Gan

Robert Gan is a Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in natural language processing (NLP) and data analysis, currently leading Reinforcement Learning from human feedback experiments at Availity since April 2023. Robert has successfully utilized language models to enhance medical document extraction, achieving high recall rates and significantly reducing processing time for medical guidelines. Previously, Robert contributed to machine learning initiatives at Olive and improved cross-sell efficiency as a Data Analyst at Skillsoft. Robert holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Arts et Métiers - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers.
