Thomas Cavanaugh

Thomas Cavanaugh is a seasoned Cyber Security Engineer at Availity since September 2015, with a strong background in virtual technology and network engineering. Prior to this, Thomas served as Vice President of Hosted Virtual Technology at Bank of America from July 2008 to September 2015, where responsibilities included engineering and architecture for various virtualization platforms. Earlier roles included Vice President of Hosted Virtual Technologies at Merrill Lynch, where Thomas engineered and maintained Citrix applications, and Network Engineer at Florida East Coast Industries, focusing on network infrastructure and VOIP integration. Thomas began a career in the United States Navy, serving as a Sonar Technician Second Class from December 1989 to January 2001, with responsibilities on two naval vessels and later as an instructor at the Fleet Training Center in Mayport. Thomas's educational background includes studies at Florida State College from 1998 to 2001.
