Sr Manager Test Engineering at Avalanche Technology

Simon Nguyen has extensive work experience in the field of test engineering. Simon began their career at AMD Corporation in 1996 as a Senior Test Engineer, specializing in test program development for flash products. During their time at AMD, they also worked on special projects and received commendations for their work on multiple level cell evaluation.

In 2004, Simon joined AMD/Spansion as a Test Engineering Lead, where they were responsible for hardware and test program development on a new tester platform. Simon successfully released and maintained test programs for offshore plants in Thailand, China, and Malaysia.

Simon later moved to Spansion Corporation in 2005, where they held multiple roles including Test Engineering Section Manager and Test Engineering Manager. In these positions, they led international teams to generate test programs for new technology memory test chips and provided production support. Simon played a key role in reducing program request backlog and helping the division consistently generate profit.

Most recently, Simon worked at Avalanche Technology Inc. as a Sr Manager Test Engineering. Simon created a test environment for STT-MRAM product development and provided product development support for Avalanche Technology, demonstrating their ability to solve problems at all levels.

Simon Nguyen obtained their high school education from Santa Ana Valley HS, from the year 1981 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronic & Computer Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, between the years 1986 and 1991.
