Akash Gupta

Akash Gupta has a long history of work experience in product management, software engineering, and consulting. In 2014, they began their career as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Product Manager at Staples. Akash then moved on to become a software engineer and product manager at Visual Classrooms Inc. in 2012. From 2015-2018, they were a Cofounder at Brisk and a Product Manager at Meta. In 2019, they became a Product Lead at Uber, where they led Uber's communications platform product teams and drove growth across various lines of business. Akash also served as a Speaker at Product School in 2019 and a Startup and Product Management Mentor at First Round Fast Track in 2020. Akash currently holds the role of Director of Product Management at Avalanche and Ava Labs, where they are managing core product and growth teams across a portfolio of products.

Akash Gupta has a diverse educational background. Akash has an Executive Education from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science in Engineering from Tufts University in Human Factors Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Industrial & Systems Engineering. Akash also has several certifications, including a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Staples, a Certified Scuba Diver from SSI Scuba Schools International, Front End Web Development from Thinkful, and Product Management from Product School.
