Danny Fields

Danny Fields is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and customer operations. Currently serving as EVP, Chief Technology and Customer Operations Officer at Avalara since June 2018, Danny previously held titles such as EVP Engineering and Chief Technology Officer. Danny is also a Board Member at K1X, Inc. since December 2024. Prior experience includes roles at MobileIron as SVP Engineering and Chief Software Development Officer, and multiple positions at Oracle, where contributions spanned from 1990 to 2016, culminating in Group Vice President Engineering at Oracle Service Cloud. Danny began the professional journey at RightNow Technologies, which was acquired by Oracle, serving as Vice President Engineering. Danny holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from Dublin City University, earned between 1986 and 1990.
