Emily Chase

Emily Chase serves as the Director and Head of the Corporate Program Management Office at Avalara since April 2022, bringing extensive experience in program management and strategic initiatives. Previously, Emily held roles at Microsoft, where responsibilities included establishing a Program Management Office and managing business operations for a large organization, in addition to a significant tenure at PwC focused on tech advisory. Emily has also contributed to academia as a Guest Faculty member at the University of Washington Information School, teaching graduate-level courses in Strategic Leadership & Management. A graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in Arabic Language and Literature, Emily earned an MS in Information Management from the University of Washington, reinforcing a strong foundation in business intelligence and information consulting.
